Medtronic Project Received CREDAWARD Merit Award

Recently, Medtronic Innovation Center (Chengdu) Project, to which Century 3 provided EPC services, was awarded by CREDAWARD as the “Merit Award” winner in this year’s competition under Comprehensive Commercial Project category.
Century 3 (Shanghai) Inc. has partnered up with Broadway Malyan (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. to deliver architectural/landscape/interior design work to the Chengdu Medtronic project. In addition, Century 3 also provided lighting design, construction design, fa?ade design, procurement, and construction services to the project.
As the 2nd medical innovation center in China, Medtronic Innovation Center (Chengdu) was officially opened in 2021. With a building area of 8800-square-meter, the newly established center is larger than the one in Shanghai, including surgical operation room, catheter room, operation training room, neuroscience training room, observation hall, training room, conference room and lecture hall. The property is a platform that promotes the sharing of high-quality resources, accelerates the transformation of cutting-edge medical technologies into clinical outcomes, and helps Chengdu develop into a trillion-yuan level pharmaceutical and health industry cluster.
CREDAWARD was first launched in 2014. Considered as one of the most prestigious architecture award and one of the most challenging awards to compete in China, the award adheres to strict evaluation standards of architectural aesthetics, environment protection, user experience and economic benefits. The 8th CREDAWARD has attracted 1,353 works from 15 countries and regions. This year’s event has gained academic support from Universidad de Politécnica de Catulu?a, Polytechnic University of Milan, Manchester School of Architecture, etc.
